In addition, Mr. Khun Pansak Vinyaratn, Chairman of the Thailand Creative and Design Center, was instrumental in bringing Material ConneXion to Thailand. In order to welcome Material ConneXion to Thailand His Excellency the Prime Minister and Mr. Khun Pansak Vinyaratn made an official trip to the New York headquarters on Saturday September 17th.

They were given a tour of the materials resource library and presented with lifetime memberships to Material ConneXion. Of the visit, His Excellency the Prime Minister said, “We are extremely excited and impressed with Material ConneXion and are honored that they have chosen Bangkok as the first office in the Far East. We will make then proud of Material ConneXion Bangkok and I will personally see to its success.”

Among the state-of-the-art facilities provided by the Thailand Creative and Design Center is a multi-million dollar collection of books related to all aspects of design; the facility also houses a multimedia resource center, meeting spaces, conferences, workshops, and an extensive exhibition space.
